I really liked the small class size. Having previously attended another course in Dublin with 10 participants, there was little opportunity for one-to-one interaction with the tutor.
Peter explained things very well. Definitely one of the better courses I have ever done and good value for money.

Photoshop Elements 1-Day Photo Editing Course

This course is aimed at photography enthusiasts interested in improving the quality of the pictures they get directly from the camera. Unlike Picasa, an excellent but limited programme, Photoshop is not overly intuitive and many users give up on it very quickly if they do not have the advantage of some directed guidance on how to use it.

 

The latest version of the software (V9) can be bought for approximately  EUR 70 (as of Nov.2011). Most owners of the more advanced Photoshop CS package (costing approximately EUR 700 upwards) underestimate the power of the Elements version of the software. In fact many professional photographers don't do anything with Photoshop CS that they couldn't just as easily do with Photoshop Elements ... for 1/10th the price!!!  In short, unless you are a fairly advanced user and have fairly advanced requirements, Photoshop Elements will meet most if not all of your photo editing needs.

 

We offer a level-1 and a level-2 course each of which is one day long (9.15 to 16:45 including lunch/snack breaks). All users are supplied with their own PC for the day as the course is very hands on.

This course is usually run as a three-person course or a six-person course depending on the venue, time of year and other factors. Course fees for these options are shown below.

Course fees must be paid in full within three days of making a telephone booking. Fees are fully refundable for cancellations made more than 14 days before the course date but thereafter are non-refundable as it is not practical for us to back-fill places at such short notice.
